Steiner Ranch is located in the acclaimed Leander ISD and has 2 Exemplary rated schools on-site. Steiner Ranch Elementary recently lost its Exemplary status (by a narrow margin) but should regain it very soon. Currently, Steiner Ranch high schoolers travel to Cedar Park HS to attend class, but a new high school located near Four Points will begin construction soon, and will be completed by 2009.
